I would recommend checking MS Websites for info on S-Mode and backward compatibility with apps running on Windows 10 or Windows 7, and see what MS has to say, rather than relying on folks like me on a car forum. Never had an issue with any application, including INPA & ISTA. When I got my newer Lenovo in 11/2019, it came (at a bargain price) with Windows 10 in S-Mode, and since I wanted to run many other Applications I have had for years, I opted OUT of S-Mode (quick, easy procedure). Otherwise, in S-mode, you can ONLY run apps from Windows Store. If you have Windows 11, is it running in "S-Mode"? As I understand it (please correct me if applicable -), Windows 11 default configuration is "S-Mode" which means you can ONLY use applications such as INPA and ISTA if you "Opt OUT of S-Mode".
